Once an airport, now a peaceful 91-acre park, Northerly Island is a nature-lover’s playground right off the city’s shore. With its prairies, walking paths, and killer views of Lake Michigan and the skyline, it’s ideal for a day of unwinding. You can also catch some outdoor concerts at the Huntington Bank Pavilion, but be warned—the mosquitoes here are serious fans too!
